Pandans are used for many products. An infusion of pandan leaves is used for flavoring rice, meat and vegetable curries, legume dishes, pickles, jellies, ice cream and other sweets. Pandan flavors a popular sweet dish made with rice and coconut milk. Medicines Many species are used as ornamentals; an example is P. veitchii plants which have glossy dark green leaves with a white border. |
